Chris Le

Chris Le holds the Canada Research Chair (Tier 1) in Bio-Analytical Technology and Environmental Health. He is a Distinguished University Professor and the Director of Analytical and Environmental Toxicology Division at the University of Alberta. He has published more than 200 journal articles on multidisciplinary research in bio-analytical technology, environmental chemistry and toxicology, human exposure to environmental contaminants (e.g., arsenic), and DNA damage and protein biomarkers. He has received several major research and teaching awards that recognize his contributions to both analytical chemistry and environmental sciences. Dr. Le is an elected Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (Academy of Science) and Fellow of the Chemical Institute of Canada. He is an Associate Editor for Environmental Health Perspectives.
