Cynthia Cheney

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Guelph where I specialized Environmental Toxicology. I then went on to receive a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University, with focuses in senior Biology, Chemistry and Math. I am currently working on my Master's of Biology, at the University of Ottawa, under the supervision of Dr. Jules Blais, specializing in Chemical and Environmental Toxicology. My research is focused on identifying spatial trends in a variety of contaminants near Giant Mine, a currently non-operational gold mine located 5 km North of Yellowknife, NWT.
