Ellen Wessel
Ellen Wessel is an undergraduate student who is involved in research with Dr. Paul White's genetic toxicology laboratory in the Mechanistic Studies Division of Health Canada. She is a BSc student in Biomedical Sciences specializing in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Ottawa, with the aspiration to continue in academia to complete her MSc. Her research centres around in vitro mutagenicity screening assays using primary hepatocytes from the Muta™Mouse transgenic rodent. Ellen is an avid animal lover and enjoys reading mystery novels in her spare time.
