Gabriel Boisvert
I come from Boisbriand, Qc and I started my University, in 2010, in Biochemistry at the University of Sherbrooke where I focused my studies on immunology and molecular biology. During my undergraduate studies, I had the chance to perform three internships in both private companies and in an academic laboratory. At the end of my undergraduate degree in 2013, I almost started a master's degree in immunology, but felt like I needed to work closer to two of my major passions, the environment and the arctic. I enventually contacted and met with Dr. Robert J. Letcher and have now started my master's degree in environmental and chemical toxicology at Carleton University under his supervision. My project focuses on the behaviour of Perfluoro-alkyl substances in a predator (polar bear) / prey (ringed seal) relationship.
