Jinjun Wu
I received a Ph. D. in chemical biology from Wuhan University and a B. S. in applied chemistry from Wuhan Institute of Technology. I will start my postdoctoral work in Prof. X. Chris Le’s group in October.
In my Ph.D study on chemical biology, I was trained by Professor Xiang Zhou at Wuhan University. My research work is focused on using chemical principles and techniques to understanding biology, including selective detection of some important epigenetic modifications with chemical or biological methods, the study on DNA lesions and repair. Moreover, I also show a great interest in DNA sequencing and revealing the significance of the DNA epigenetic modifications in vivo.
